Small companies may apply for SHOP coverage at any time, all year.
Persons in federally recognized tribes and Alaska Native shareholders can register for Marketplace coverage at any time of year. There isn't any limited enrollment period for these groups, and they can adjust plans as frequently as once per month.
If none of those options meet your needs, the Open Enrollment period for 2015 coverage begins on November 15, 2014.
Please Note: If you don’t have minimum essential coverage, you will likely have to pay the tax penalty unless you have one of a few qualified exemptions from the tax penalty.
